Rates & Billing

Most storage companies advertise a low rate to get you in the door, then raise your rent after 3 to 6 months — once your belongings are inside and moving feels like too much trouble. We think that’s not a fair way to treat a good customer.

At The Mini Storage Center, your rate is guaranteed not to go up for at least 12 months. If your rate ever does change after that, your new rate gets its own 1-Year Guarantee — so you’re always protected.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. You can pay online through your tenant account, by phone, or in person at the office.

Yes — autopay is available through your online tenant account. It’s the easiest way to make sure your payment never slips through the cracks. We’ll also send you a reminder before your bill is due each month.

There is a one-time administration fee at move-in. Monthly invoices are available for a $2.00 per invoice fee — otherwise, statements are available free through your online account. There are no hidden CAM charges or utility fees added to your base rate.

Yes, discounts may be available for longer-term commitments at select locations. Speak with the on-site manager at your preferred location to discuss your options.

Renting a Unit

Our standard minimum rental period is 30 days. Weekly rentals are available at some locations — ask your on-site manager for details.

Yes. All of our rentals are month-to-month with no long-term commitment required. Rent for as long as you need and move out when you’re ready — just give us notice before your next billing date.

Yes. You can browse available units, check pricing, and complete your rental entirely online. If you prefer to handle things in person, our on-site managers are available during office hours to get you set up.

Yes, at most locations. Please discuss your specific requirements with the on-site manager at your location ahead of time so we can make sure everything goes smoothly.

Security & Access

Gate access hours are generally 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM at most locations, though hours may vary slightly by property. Check with the on-site manager at your specific location to confirm.

Every location is equipped with 24/7 camera surveillance that monitors the property around the clock. You access your unit with your own personal gate code, and our on-site managers are present during office hours to keep an eye on things throughout the day.

Yes, each unit requires its own lock. We sell disc locks and standard locks on-site — disc locks are highly recommended for their superior cut resistance. You’re also welcome to bring your own lock as long as it fits the unit’s latch.

Supplies & Services

Yes — we carry a variety of packing supplies at our locations including moving boxes, tape, mattress covers, furniture pads, and more. It’s one less stop to make on moving day.

Yes. We offer third-party protection plans through SafeLease to protect your belongings while in storage. Plans start at $12/month for $2,000 of coverage with no deductible — a strong value compared to most home or renters insurance policies for stored items.

Yes — U-Haul truck rentals are available at select locations. Ask your on-site manager whether the nearest location offers this service.
